Women of Vision

Strengthening women and girls to build a better world for children

Women of Vision

“…In my opinion, the single most significant thing that can be done to cure extreme poverty is this: protect, educate, and nurture girls and women and provide them with equal rights and opportunities – educationally, economically, and socially.”
–Rich Stearns, President, World Vision US, The Hole in Our Gospel

Women of Vision is a volunteer ministry of World Vision, mobilizing and uniting women called to invest their time, intellect, compassion, creativity, and finances so impoverished women and children might find hope and experience a tangible expression of God’s love.

In October 2011 Angela Mason went to Sierra Leone with ABC 7 News to learn about one of the poorest countries in the world, and to gather stories on child sponsorship, maternal and child health, malaria and clean water issues. Follow ABC7′s “Journey to Hope” series following their trip!

Women of Vision’s Gift and Gear Store includes logo apparel and accessories as well as items for events and service projects. Our online store is designed especially with Women of Vision in mind!

The Heart of the Matter is a biblically-based, interactive, study series which can be done individually or in a small group. A leadership guide is included for each study. Download it for free here or buy the workbooks and DVDs at World Vision Resources!
